About King Color
Prep the surface right. Use the right product. Leave the space cleaner than we found it. Fifteen years in, that is still what we do.
Our story
King Color Painting started in 2010 the way most great trades businesses do — with one painter who cared how the finish looked long after the check cleared. Prep was never rushed, the wrong paint was never good enough, and every wall got the same attention whether the customer was watching or not.
In 2019 the work grew into a full-service painting company — licensed, bonded, and covering everything from residential interior refreshes to full commercial and new-construction packages. The crew grew, the equipment grew, and the service area grew with it.
Today we serve homes and businesses across Washington and Oregon, from the Tri-Cities and Yakima Valley to Walla Walla, Moses Lake, and Spokane. What has not changed is the standard — craft first, cleanliness always, and a finish worth the money.
"The van shows up, the crew shows up, and the finish shows up. Every time."
What we stand for
These are the four commitments we hold every crew member to — because a paint job is only as good as the standard the day it was applied.
The finish is either right or it is not. We take the time to prep, prime, and apply the way the paint maker specified, because that is the difference between a paint job and a great paint job.
Every crew member wears the brand, protects the space, and treats the house like it is their own. Floors covered, furniture wrapped, cleanup daily — no shortcuts on respect.
You get a fixed-scope estimate before we start. No fine print, no change-order games. If we hit a surprise mid-project, we tell you first and quote it before we move.
A rushed job looks great at the reveal and rough at the six-month mark. Our work is built to hold up — through Washington summers, Columbia Basin winters, and everything in between.

What clients say
"I highly recommend these men from King Color Painting in Kennewick, WA. In addition to the great price, they were helpful in the amount of paint needed so I didn't have lots of extra. They were efficient and thorough, finishing up within a week. DO NOT hesitate - give them a call for your free estimate. If I can talk husband into having the interior done, I will be calling them."
